Foundation Failure / Differential Settlement Remediation
Client: Home Owners / Foundation Repair Contractors
Scope of Work: 1.) Evaluate previous foundation repairs at time of purchase / sale to re-certify stability of remediation. 2.) Contracted by home owners to assess and recommend remediation for differential foundation settlement issues. 3.) Sub-contracted by Foundation Repair Contractors to perform underpinning load assessment and provide permit submittal package.

Scope of Work: Site & soils evaluation, usage & loading assessment, foundation design, bridge design, BOM, on-site construction oversight & installation inspection.
Aluminum Structure; Grand-Chandelier
Client: Limbic Media, BC Canada
Scope of Work: Custom aluminum structure grand-chandelier loading assessment, materials and components design evaluation and installation instruction certification for installation at Beaver Creek Resort. Sealed drawing package, letter of certification, installation instructions.
Mike is a lucky husband and father of two Carbondale middle-schoolers. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, received his undergrad degree at the University of Oklahoma, achieved his P.E. License in Colorado (2005), and obtained his M.B.A. along with Lean and Project Management certifications while living in Europe (2006-2013). He brings diverse hands-on, one-on-one small project experience in addition to multi-year, multi-million dollar international projects, including the design and manufacturing of precast concrete products (Rocky Mountain Prestress, Denver, CO), the world’s largest wind turbine blades (LM Wind Power, Denmark), civil-scale fabricated steel gates and valves (Rexnord Inc, Orange, MA) as well as residential/commercial plumbing products (Watts Water Technologies, Andover, MA). Before founding Red Hill Engineering, he’s held positions including Structural & Mechanical Project Engineer, Production Supervisor, Project Manager, Program Manager, Engineering Department Manager, Director of Engineering & Project Management, and Director of Product Development.
